I'm Amanda Wood, a Georgia Peach transplanted in flat farmlands of mid-Missouri. Wife to Philip (a.k.a. Hubs), momma to and angel, and fur mom to two rambunctious felines. A full time student, full time blogger, and part time blog designer. Chocoholic, shopaholic, and lover of all things vintage. I'm not bad in a the kitchen, but a lady-boss when it comes to decorating my home. In my free time you can find me with my nose in book, knitting a blanket, or expanding my collection of elephant things.
This blog chronicles the ups and downs and twirls of my new life in the mid-west. As we move forward and grow we make wonderful memories, tell interesting stories, have funny or insightful conversations, and experience some amazing things.
Have fun poking around my little corner of the internet and if you have them time, check out the lovelies on my sidebar, they won't disappoint.

Happy to have found your blog and I'm now following you on Bloglovin. I'll be making a similar move soon to join my boyfriend in CA. We started dating here in SC before the Coast Guard moved him to a new location. I'm excited for the big move, but it's definitely not something I predicted for myself! It sounds like you would understand that!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! It's not easy, especially at first, but if you focus on the reason you made this courageous decision, you'll do just fine! I'm actually planning to do a post comparing GA to MO and what I like in MO and what I miss most about GA.
DeleteHi Amanda! So nice to find another Southern transplant in MO - I'm looking forward to reading your blog!
