Celebrating 'Merica + Inspire Swap

First let's jus take a moment to celebrate the awesomeness of our freedom here in the United States. It's pretty amazing what we are capable of as a nation. And I know I'm never going to agree with our government's decisions all the time, but it could be worse, ya know? I know I'm going to celebrate by eating burgers and hot dogs, enjoying an adult beverage or two, and hang out in our little back yard oasis.

A few weeks ago, I signed up to participate in a blogger swap hosted by Rachel at The Rachel Way. I'm always looking to connect with other bloggers and this seemed like a really great way to do so. I got paired up with Nina from Adventures of the K Family and I really enjoyed getting to know her through her blog. She's been to some amazing places and her dog is freaking adorable.

I'm a little late to the reveal party because like me, Nina is trying to balance school work, married life, and a blog. It's a tough row to hoe! I completely understand. But when I opened my box I was so excited. She got me, she really got me. My favorite part was the sweet note she included. Nina is truly a thoughtful and inspirational person.

In my box was an Inspire quote plaque, an inspirational flip book to display on my side table, a journal with a matching note pad, two amazingly scented candles, post-its, a cute Paris pocket sized note pad, and highlighters. She knows how much I love my office supplies! Thank you so much Nina!
