The Ups and Downs of Pinterest Crafts

Sunday's are grocery shopping days. Most of the time we go down to the lake and shop at Hy-Vee as they have a better selection, lower prices, and a fuel point system that saves us money on gas as well. So while we are down there, we sometimes go to other stores that are not in our small town. This week, we went to Lowe's and JoAnn's.

What did we get? Lot's of things!

Paint! Fake Flowers! Picture Frames! A Grapevine Wreath! Sand Paper! A Purple Mason Jar! and MORE!

I have plans for it all! So far I haven't been in the mood to finish painting the walls, but I have been busy with the crafts. One successful and one not so successful.

Let's start with the bad and end with the good. So here it is... my attempt at a DIY letter sorter I saw on Pinterest.





So here's what mine came out like. (Note: I painted mine)





Yeah... mine didn't turn out as nice. I might just get some scrapbook paper and cover it up.

My next craft project came out much better! I am very proud of it, and I think my mom is going to make one for her door. I saw this on Pinterest too, but I can't find the pin.

Most of my Pinterest crafts come out well. And I have a few more I'm going to try in the near future. But now, I need to get in the mood to paint walls!
