My Last Target Receipt

My new bloggy friend, Kay, made an epic list of blog topics she wants to read about. I scribbled down a few that totally apply to me, the first being to "live blog" a TV show or movie. I did that for the Game of Thrones premiere, you can check that out here. Another one I wrote down was to post my last Target receipt. I couldn't find an older one, but I did need to make a trip to Target last week. Somehow I was able to escape with only a $5 tab.

However, I almost spent about $55 more on some new 5 lb hand weights, a very overpriced yoga block, two super cute coffee mugs, and a colorful lounge chair so I can lay out and not blind people with my ghost like legs. I knew Philip would not approve, so I left my purchases to the dollar section.

I got a cute little tin pail to keep my sponges in by the kitchen sink. Some new magnets for our fridge (now I can get rid of the save-the-date magnet from my cousin's wedding 6 months ago), a new lighter cause ours is almost out, and some tape for all my crafting needs. At least everything had a purpose!

I will have to go back later and get my dollar back because they scanned the little pale twice. Or I could just make them give me a second pale! I didn't notice until I was all the way home, and we live about 15 miles from our Target. Next trip!

  1. I'm impressed you made it out so cheaply!!! Go back for the $1 and SPLURGE on the other things you wanted. Especially the weights & the chair! Quality investments :)

    1. I think this was a first for me. Usually I don't leave without spending at least $20 or more.
